Any hairdressers who have a good reputation for cutting and styling ethnic hair (female)?

This is helpful, thanks! My hair isn't fully 3C and over quality, but it'll be worthwhile to check them out as winning an award definitely lends itself to a good reputation.
Good luck, hope you find a hairdresser that works for you!
Thank you! 😄
If I would not know better, I would ask the owner/cashier at the local ethnic food shop (where you get your plantains and stuff), if his wife or female friends have a recommendation.
Quick Google: Harmonie Ventures and De-Glory, both on George Street.
I think with desperation I absolutely would try out asking the owner/cashier of a local ethnic shop, but I'm not quite there yet haha. Wow, thanks! How did you find that so quick?? When I googled for hairdressers it just gave me all the hairdressers in Aberdeen
Try Paul at The Gym salon
Does he do good work? I'll have a look at The Gym salon's webpage to see if they've got photos of their clients' finished hair
Try Andrew at Harris and Fox.

His training was done on mostly ethnic hair. It's what he specialised in. His Harris and Fox Instagram page doesn't really show this. He's a friendly dude, so am sure if you messaged him with any questions, he'd happily answer them.
Fab, I might shoot him a message then
There a number of places on Kings Street that cater to black hair (if that’s what you are looking for) - Mayrees Salon , been there a few times.
I'll have a look, ta! My hair isn't exactly 3C and above quality, it's a bit below, but I think it's still worthwhile to try check in with Mayrees Salon in case they are able to handle this type of hair too
I have Between 4b to c hair and she is really good. Been going to her since I been in Aberdeen. Worth a look
That’s reassuring, as my hair is thick 3B it might be easier to cut compared to coily types. I’m having a look at their page rn and it looks promising
