You know balance is off when...

When they claim in front of you drop an entire extended clip ARW in them and don’t reload just knife them twice, this on an assault with deadly specialization and knife damage perk and any predator will be dead solo every time
ok, I'll try it
For reference on the ARW and it's damage, that's a Hunter Pred
That's kinda curious, can I ask for some more details?
What kind of Pred? What weapon was your teammate using? Did either of you have extended mags?
It depends... Viking or Berserker pred with Impenetrable and Ironsides will have over 1,800HP against gunshots. Next time pull out the knives, they do much better against a pred up close.
Time to kill for one person shooting at the predator, with reloads included, should be around 7 seconds for most assault rifles against a hunter. Full team firing at once will drop any enemy in very short order. Of course second wind will extend this.
So either you picked really bad weapons or a lot of missing occured.
For an idea of how quick it can be, me and my friend ended up just us against a pred because of weird matchmaking, and in a shootout taking less than a minute that had us each downed once, we put the pred into second wind and downed them fully, leading to us running from the self destruct.
I've heard the balancing favors the Fireteam, and I honestly agree, if both the Fireteam and the predator perform perfectly the Fireteam will always win.
Predators are stupid OP right now, so expect a lot of this. And dont mind all these geeks and their TTK theorizing, Predators dont stand still and let you shoot them.
TTK theorizing? It's actually been tested by quite a few people
Yeah, its easy to get optimal dps on a stationary target.
Like a charging pred? Yes.
Do you know what "stationary" means?
Yes...posted a video above...I can provide another if you like.
Edit: Not my videos
Lmao the predator literally gets away in the very video you posted. Nice work, genius.
The Predator is literally second winded by 1 man...real balanced in a 4v1 game
Okay I know we will say it's against potatoes... But this isn't the point of my video... My point is you can make builds that one shot base hp assaults and If they were poked a little by the ai... You can one shot...
https://youtu.be/4eC0s7fQp1I (also this is what I mean by dominoing into the win with one down with the axe.)
If most of the people think this is balanced then so be it. I feel op as pred but it is what it is. I still am having fun and I'm not trying to say that the Pred shouldn't be strong.. but tweaking things... Vs a 30% or 20% stackable boost is quite a bonus....
So I will say I agree that this is balanced considering the speed the FT can put the Predator into second wind if one, let alone 4 people are shooting at him. A lot of players have been asking for that tweak on FT side too since specializations came out. Look at the damage buffs Assault and Scout have currently, or the defensive buffs a 87 Dutch has. Both sides have pretty quick TTK now so it trends to faster pacing. Not what I would prefer, but clearly what the devs are going for so it works.
You're first video, honestly I'm curious for some details on (what specialization was this? assuming you had downrange? Assault wasn't touched by AI prior?) I haven't seen a 1 shot arrow in game before now. In the second video though, yes that is dominos, but it's also a FT standing there watching you play whack a mole too. With one of the slowest and easiest to dodge weapons in the game. I mean they just lined up practically and didn't even fight back, they practically ignored you the entire time.
So skip to the 3:30 mark of this video for the action. https://youtu.be/qAyknm_hqpk
Both sides can end the game quick when they know how to play.
I mean it is when they claim right in front of you
How were the TTK tests done?
Well you see, two fire team is cutting the fire-team power in half. By how damage works you should have been able to shred this predator, it you didn’t. Only had two members, probably missed shots, and most likely had shit load outs. The hunters 1344 health (including its natural damage resistant buff.) The predator was most likely to win in this situation.
