Bulbasaurxl

Watch out for them roses! Lul

JimeDorje

They're growing strong!

Bulbasaurxl

I was thinkin that exact quote when I wrote that too. They growing! Oh lawd they growin! Lul

vegasidol

Thornes!

CaptainSmackJerro

Well we dont have to worry about the squid now do we.

TheStrangestOfKings

This gives me the same vibes that the old political cartoons of animals who represented the different states of Europe dividing up the continent give me

Trenttrip

Yeah that’s what I thought of lol

asapdammoh

Where's the trout tho and where's the gear falcon

TheHulkingCannibal

I'm guessing the Raven/Crow is meant to represent the Arryn's falcon. If not, then idk why the Night's Watch would be represented as a force bidding for Westeros. Maybe Bloodraven overseeing everything?

Vogonvor

It represents the Night's Watch. The image was commissioned for a Game of Thrones card game tournament so it only depicts the factions which were factions in the game (Baratheon, Targaryen, Martell, Lannister, Tyrell, Nights Watch and Stark). Edit: Also Greyjoy as pointed out below - I always forget Greyjoy!

Granger123456

What about Greyjoy?

Vogonvor

You're totally right - I knew I was missing one!

TheHulkingCannibal

Oh that’s cool. Thanks for the info!

MelancholyWookie

I take it the snake is Martell. Even though theirs is a spear through a sun.

Vogonvor

Yes, Martell is the snake.

Paladingo

I took it to mean Bloodraven

SnoopyGoldberg

My main man Robin Arryn getting no respect as usual despite having the most fresh and capable army of the Seven Kingdoms.

Baredmysole

... gyrfalcon? It’s a real bird.

asapdammoh

It's the sigil of House Arryn

bIowinbrowns

Looks awesome, but should have the animals coming from their respective areas.

RANDOMjackassNAME

Right! Why would the Starks attack from dorne and the Lannisters from the north?

bIowinbrowns

And no riverlands, vale, I think the viper is supposed to be dorne but that’s only Oberyn, and a crow/ raven. Looks cool but it’s odd

jordnray

I LOVE this picture. So damn cool

Bhaskar71

Tully Trout?

murrman104

Man that squid and the Roses really have no chance huh, like whats the squid going to do, flop mennacingly?

Pistachio_Queen

Idk I think the roses/thorny vines actually represent the Tyrells really well. They use subtle politic machinations to gain power, not by military force but by growing in power from the inside and intermarriage. They dig their roots in and are on top sitting pretty when others get killed for their mistakes.

JimmyPlicket

Create deep roots and let the others spill their blood.

fookinmoonboy

What do any of them really have against a dragon

Grimlock_205

Use a blood sacrifice to become a god ;)

brankinginthenorth

Maybe I'm missing it but where's the trout of House Tully?

SnoopyGoldberg

Waiting for the rest to kill each other and then planning to marry the winners, I guess.

3chapters

Who’s the snake supposed to be?

Ajay_SteveRogers

House Martell

3chapters

Yeah now that I think of it a sun with a spear would be weird to represent

Binoru

I'm kinda upset that the animals don't line up to the kingdoms exactly

TheStrangestOfKings

This gives me the same vibes that the old political cartoons of animals who represented the different states of Europe dividing up the continent give me

Leon_Art

"A Griffin, a Griffin!" Or two dragons?

Aobz18

Great art but should have included a Flayed man instead of a crow, imo.

SupaFlyslammajammazz

Damn rose bush and them thorns.

CheezRavioli

The octopus is on its side, which seems a bit weird and the proportions are a bit off. Other than that it's pretty awesome.

JustAAnormalDude

Is the snake supposed to represent (f)aegon? A snake could be considered a false dragon, and the gold could represent the Golden Company.

averma133

I think the snake represents house Martell.

JustAAnormalDude

I think house Martell would be symbolized by a spear though, like Tyrell was by a vine with roses.

averma133

I guess but a spear and a shield would look very out of place here lol. Maybe that's why it's a snake u know representing the red viper , sand snakes I think.

JustAAnormalDude

I think it looks more like gold rather than a sandy color. Let's agree to disagree

averma133

Yeah the symbolism here is a tad bit confusing.
