Ryan Gosling at 12 years dancing his heart out
By - My_Memes_Will_Cure_U
You can see from this video how *U Can't Touch This* still had its vice-like grip on the nation..
It still does, baby😎
I read this in Coach Steve’s voice.
I read it in Rick the Hormone Monster's voice, but I could see it being a Coach Steve line just as easily. They're kind of interchangeable in their style of quips. LoL
“I recently made the thick in the warm, so…”
Fuck you for reminding me about this line just when I had finally cleansed my mind of it.
huh what does it mean
We've got a sweet summer child over here. It's best to turn back now, friend.
It's when your put your pener in her sweetie
The birds run the barge
Principal: *youre fired Steve*
Steve: woohoo out of which cannon!?
Principal: *no, youre fired Steve*
Steve: yeah im fired up to meet Nick Cannon!
*One hour later*
Steve: Okay let me see if i can get this straight. Because of what I just did you all never want me to come back to this school.....of fish *holds up bag of fish*
It would quit, but it is *2 legit to quit*, hey hey.
Seth Meyers still can't afford it.
The choreographer was absolutely in love with that foot grab move.
And the MC Hammer pants
["I wish I could say someone said "Here, you have to wear this"...](https://youtu.be/U6GgvDRmxz0?t=234)
God I love the Graham Norton show. Absolutely slaughters most American late night. That drunken Bill Murray appearance was legendary and youtube suggestions thinks I want to watch it every 5 minutes
Multiple nations. Ryan Gosling is Canadian.
Ah so he's a Canadian Goose
Worst things to come out of the 80s:
1. That stupid step with the knee and the other hand behind your head.
I hear mullets are back in fashion and I've intentionally grown my white boy curly hair to a point it gets heavy and starts growing down instead of afroey.
We're back baby. You should see my shadow with headphones on
Australian here: they never left!
Business up front, party in the back.
I keep my hair short and my pubes long. That way, you know the business end from the party end.
They never left in Florida.
Will you please also wear a sleeveless jean jacket and fingerless gloves? If my memory serves me correctly, people with mullets play by their own rules. Sleeves on a jacket??? No way!! Fingers on gloves???!!! What is the point? Get rid of ‘em!
And if you're really committed, you'll use an entire can of hairspray to tease your bangs up into a vertical hairy wall up front and you'll take an hour in the school bathroom to achieve it.
"The suggestion of breakdancing"
The funky chicken?
The funky chicken, you mean, which actually originated in the 70s apparently
He talks about this dance competition and the outfit in this [Graham Norton Show bit](https://youtu.be/I9fUqiav_SA). It's quite funny.
Man, I wish I had that outfit when I tried dance. I'm a male and when I was 10 I tried dance, hip hop stuff specifically. Joined a class and I really enjoyed it. I was the only boy, just like this clip. However, at the end of the year for recital our instructor chose outfits that were so ridiculous I quit on the spot.

He had a top similar to this and that same style of material as super short shorts to be worn over super bright green spandex. Naw man, I'm out.
Have you guys seen This is Pop the documentary on Netflix? Damn that shit is good. It’s crazy how much Boyz 2 Men changed pop music in this country. They were (and still are) criminally underrated
Motown Philly back again
Doin a little East Coast swang.
Da da, daaa da da, da da da da da da
I need a little buoyancy in the harmonies.
Fell asleep with this show on and when I woke up it was on this episode when I opened the comments and now the circle is complete. I'll bring the hand sanitizer.
Babyface is the truly underrated one. Had a hand in the careers of legends like boyz2men, mariah, madonna, TLC, whitney houston to name a few. A lot of people only know him as an r&b artist with a few hits. But he probably has one of the longest resumes in modern music
It’s so true. I’ll listen to songs from that era and I can usually tell if baby face wrote it. He has such an identifiable style to his songwriting. He’s written so many hits and so many songs for artists - it’s quite impressive.
You know you’re a big deal when Mariah Carey’s singing backup vocals for your song. It amazes me how he also produced and written for Fall Out Boy.
He’s all over so much stuff. I personally think he’s one of the greatest songwriters of all time. I’ve actually become quite obsessed lol. It’s definitely a guilty pleasure of mine but I’ve turned some of my friends onto his greatness.
He produced Change the World, which he sang with Eric Clapton, one of my favorites on MTV Unplugged.
Dude, chills every time. That was one heck of a performance. He also sang a Boyz2Men medley there if i remember correctly.
Holy shit. I had no idea and now I can totally hear his influence
ABC, BBD, mmm hmmm!
At the playground, ya know!
That girl is poisooonnnn....
The East Coast family.
Boyz II Men still tour and had a residency in Vegas a few years ago. I recommend seeing them live if you have a chance. They still sound really good. They were also in the song/video House Party that New Kids on the Block released last year. It was kind of a pandemic we’re all in this together song/video that raised money for the No Kid Hungry charity.
idk that Boyz II Men is underrated. they were huge in the 90's and they're still on r&b playlists to this day. I don't know a single person that doesn't know who they are and they had an insane amount of hits.
Remember that one song where they did the countdown from 10 and then the guy with the super low voice was all like, "Injection fellas." 🤣
Commenting so I can show my wife this later. She wholeheartedly agrees with you and I listen to more Boys to Men than you can imagine.
I dressed like them for most of the '90s.
No one has touched it since.
We were Hammer time zombies , stumbling around , desperately searching for parachute pants
Well that song is 2 legit 2 quit.
That man really grew into his head
For some reason, giant heads are good for show business
Big heads look better on camera, not sure why. Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson are bobble heads irl.
Yeah, big head narrow shoulders Cillian Murphy is the same.
I think it’s to pop out on the screen and to showcase much more visible emotions
Angelina Jolie is an extreme case her body is 85% head.
Seriously. At first I thought it was a Photoshop of his current head on a child
I had to scroll too much to find someone else who thought this.
Bigger the head, bigger the star. -turtle
Vincent Chase, big fucking head
How’s my head?
Not to big but your ears are huge.
I forgot to turn on the sound, and thought rasputin would go really good with the dance
I tried it. It works!
Best I could do. No idea what I'm doing really.
That works so well
It really came together when the “hey hey hey” part came in
I feel like this works better than the original song
Seconded. Its a chefs kiss from mee
RA RA RASPUTIN
Here he is, singing with some random kids named Justin and JC.
The size of those suits are something else
Makes me think of the 2003(?) NBA first round draft picture. It’s like all of them went and pulled suits off the rack but first said “where are your biggest suits, specifically pants. I need massively baggy pants”
> 2003(?) NBA first round draft picture
I somehow think it still looks good on the guy in white (all the way in our right)
Thats LeJon Brames.
Who? Goes to show first round drafts can fade into obscurity
Here this might help https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5y_cl3WIO6A
Edit: I’m not Rickrolling you I promise.
Add Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera and you'll realize all of them were mousketeers in the old 90s Mickey Mouse Club. You can also add Keri Russell to the list as well.
And poor little Jessica Simpson had a crush on him but failed her audition.
Thats surprising to me. I can remember she had/has a really strong voice.
Unfortunately her voice doesn't carry over live. She tends to sing off key quite often.
Ah, I was about to add «unless she was really autotuned» but didnt want to sound negative. I guess there is a reason she gave it up.
JC on the Mickey Mouse Club was my first deep “why do I feel like this” crush. I would sit a foot away from the TV just waiting for his intro.
Did you know JC Chasez stands for Joshua Chasez Chasez?
Joshua Scott Chasez. I learned all of N Sync's members' full names to impress some girls in high school. It didn't work and I can't forget all these years later.
Justin Randall Timberlake
James Lanceton Bass
Christopher Alan Kirkpatrick
Joseph Anthony Fatone
Joshua Scott Chasez
*Edit for formatting
The real high school crush was the NSYNC you learned along the way.
The episode from South Park on this issue is amazing. https://youtu.be/DGiNx5pvgPg
Pretty sure that was from a TV show my cousin and I used to watch called Kids Incorporated. At the time we didn't have any idea who they were.
Edit: actually that might have been the Mickey Mouse Club that I'm thinking of.
Yep you’re right, it was Mickey Mouse Club with JT and Britney.
And Christina Aguilera too !
And Keri Russel!!
My grandma was Keri Russell’s church teacher for a little while. Mormons.
Kids Incorporated had Jennifer Love Hewitt though, for sure. She was just going by Love Hewitt at the time. That show was my jam! (I'm 37, so you must be near my age as well) Our cable box was locked to Disney channel, and AMC when it was all old black and white classic movies, so I remember all the shows on Disney in the 90's really well.
And Stacy Ferguson, who we now know as Fergie.
I watched Kids Inc. when I was younger. Fergie was an original cast member, and Jennifer Love Hewitt joined later on. It’s crazy to think that they’ve been in show business pretty much their whole lives.
You could say they were groomed for it.
Is there anything this man can’t do?
[eat cereal ](https://youtu.be/FkpCP9R1Jjc)
The guy that used to make those vines died of cancer when he was 27, so Ryan Gosling made a tribute video of himself [finally eating his cereal.](https://youtu.be/oYTljd3f6eg)
I found that funny for a lot longer than I should have hahaha
He was a liability at cornerback
he sings with his band dead man's bones https://youtu.be/5W9TJ2JUW9c
It’s a good thing he went for acting rather than music, but I’ve heard worse from people who sing for a living.
He actually has an amazing voice, check out his band dead mans bones. Best album to listen around October.
"In The Room Where You Sleep" is the best song for spooky October days when it's chilly and overcast. Found it on a Spotify Halloween playlist and it blew my mind that Ryan Gosling did it.
It’s wild we got that close to a world where Ryan gosling was just another member of Nsync. I wonder if he’d still have a movie career if that were the case.
WHY?! did I think we were talking about Ryan Reynolds this whole time until this video 😩
Same! I was thinking how funny it would be to see this pop up in a Deadpool skit
Growing up in the 90s I can say "wow this still fits me" with my clothes even though I'm a fat bastard now.
I'm sorry, South Korea. This is on us.
Kidz bop has really changed.
Sparkle Motion lives on.
I question his commitment, though.
This guy had a big bright future in show biz. I hope someone picks him up.
His mom probably did after the show
Well she better have
You fuckers made my night. Thank you!
I posted a suggestive, but funny, meme about him on my work account. Then found out his mom follows it.
He's already got the Hammer Pants, he's at least got the fashion part down already.
He just landed this sick gig on a Canadian teen show about high school on a boat!
Just don't tell him an Avatar 2 is coming out
I love the rare occasion i see a reference to that skit, its one of my favorite pieces of art ever
Getting all the girls back then. Getting all the girls now. Somethings never change.
One of my professors in school did dance lessons with Ryan Gosling when they were kids. She said even though she and her friends were 3-4 years older, Ryan would still hit on them.
That’s hilarious. What ages we talking here?
He was 14 and she was 17
Lmaoooo to have that kind of confidence at 14.
What an absolute chad 😎
Tbf it was always easier flirting with older girls since worst case they’ll just call you adorable
See older girls were even more intimidating just by virtue of their age 😂
That's why I always flirt with grandmas.
Haha. True. Also, his funny side is still there too.☺️
Confirmation bias is a dangerous gateway to child dancing.
This comment needs to be higher.
He’s been with Eva Mendez for a long time now. So just one girl.
Yeah, being so good looking and getting all the girls. He must hate that, poor guy.
You forgot being rich. Has to suck to afford everything you could ever need and more
But now he doesn’t have to “afford it” because a lot of it is now given to him for free. Poor guy
Well fuck that really sucks
No wonder I'm so relaxed all the time
Im sure he is. Everytime he’s doing interviews, he never really answers the questions. Like when he was on [Ellen](https://youtu.be/s0MbQWhyoD0) he probably answers a lot of questions throughout his life, he’s tired of it. Lol
I’m fairness, that was actually more entertaining than if he had answered any of those questions honestly. So, assuming that her primary goal is entertaining and retaining viewership, I’d call that a success.
This kid is cooler than me at any age.
That's understood mate
He's shown and talks about this same clip here in the Graham Norton show: https://youtu.be/I9fUqiav_SA
That's not what I wanted to download
...it really whips the llama's ass!
What I wouldn’t give to see him do this routine now.
Oh that’s a good show idea!
My boy killed that
The pants though....
McHammer, before he disowned his Scottish ancestry
Early nineties man. That was the style.
There was a lot of styles, this unfortunately was one of them.
He didn't have an onion on his belt though
They're called "Beans Pants"in some parts of the world. [From Google image](https://www.google.com/search?q=seroual+loubia&tbm=isch&ved=2ahUKEwj3lc7g7MbxAhUzoOAKHceNC5cQ2-cCegQIABAC&oq=Seroual+&gs_lcp=ChJtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1pbWcQARgAMgQIABAeMgQIABAeMgQIABAeMgQIABAeMgYIABAKEB46BwgjEOoCECc6BAgjECc6AggAUKRsWJB2YPSDAWgCcAB4AIABxgGIAZsJkgEDMC44mAEAoAEBsAEFwAEB&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-img&ei=AVHgYLeROLPAggfHm664CQ&bih=724&biw=384&prmd=ivn&safe=active&hl=en-GB)
What a legend! Glad he has the success now
12 year old smoulder! LOL.
Those silver hammer pants were his "Vision" for this lol
Haha this is from graham norton interview is it.
This is fucking surreal.
Dance like noone's watching
‘Cept he danced like *everyone* was watching.
That's from an ancient Greek tale, Oddysseus (if spelt correctly). Noone has blinded the big cyclops.
No one. I can't let it go anymore.
My sister participated in dance recitals growing up and as soon a boy was in the routine, all creativity went out the window. It would always end up as a dozen little girls swooning and fighting over a little boy. Went to a few of these a year for about 8 years and it was always the same thing. This just triggered nam-style flashbacks
At his age I was leveling up my Pokemon and beating gym leaders. Maybe not quite as impressive, but at least I was ambitious
His dancing is lovely. But I cant get over how naked the little girls next to him are, esp compared to him. Why are they wearing (essentially) swim suits while he's fully clothed? It kills any wholesomeness for me.
I hated wearing those outfits as a little girl. They were often bar midriff.
I was self conscious about my little tummy and asked my dance teacher if I could wear a tank top underneath and got a firm no! I was in first grade.
There was a movie recently called cuties, which denounced the sexualisation of young kids in dance. The movie featured a scene that was more tame compared to certain dance competitions, and it was heavily criticized for it. Hope it accomplished what it set out to do and sexualisation of kids will be more called out.
Yeah I remember Reddit condemning the movie for even showing girls in skimpy outfits and shaking their butt
But Reddit seems A-OK with this video .... Something's wrong.
The outfits were on the a bit too little side but them having to do the "chest shimmy" move towards the end pushed it over the edge. I've only ever really seen that dance move done to show off a womens boobs.
Thank you! I thought perhaps I'm too much of a prude to feel uncomfortable. They are just kids. Why is this even a trend for kids? Looking at all the dance shows for kids. They can easily be dressed in sparkly, comfortable yet non-sexualized clothes.
Ok that's great and all, time to post Jason Statham dancing in a music video
The Shamen ftw! https://youtu.be/uWu3JqLMImY
You gotta watch his reactions on the Graham Norton show on this
Remember this guy? He's giga chad now. Feel old yet?
