Little dude falls while riding and is seen crying at the park. A good man stops and helps the kid out.
By - PlenitudeOpulence
Why is such a young kid on their own outside this late though
Having spent a ton of time at skateparks; its super common for parents to sit in the car, or to straight up drop their kids off by themselves. I've seen plenty of kids his age skating through the park by themselves unsupervised. I still think this is fake, though
>I still think this is fake, though
And why does that guy have a sticker on hand?
He's got a whole van full of them. You wanna come check them out?
Yeah, can I bring a friend?
Aren't you the guy who lost your puppy too?
Hmm, not feeling the stickers...He got any puppies or kittens in that van? I like puppies and kittens.
Honestly at a skatepark, that could very well end up as a wholesome moment.
Could work at some sort of shop, be sponsored, have his own brand, there’s lots of reasons guys might have stickers at the park.
I don’t know about biking as much, but at least in skateboarding, stickers are suuuper common. I know a bunch of guys that are on local skate shop teams, and they usually have at least a few dozen stickers in their cars when they go to parks.
There’s tons of people here who have clearly never set foot in a skate park. Unattended kids are unfortunately not that uncommon, and neither is someone carrying stickers around.
Yeh there always some guy from a local boardshop passing out stickers
I eat stickers all the time dude!
to give out to people. You can buy a pack for 2 dollars and younger kids love it.
Plus at parks like that everyone stickers everything.
Skaters/bikers love their stickers, like fuck in the Tony Hawk games there are sticker collectables and a trick that is just you placing stickers.
imagine if TH had specialized stickers of himself in the style of Garbage Pale Kids and handed them out when he was out in public. Skaters would be treating those things like they were pure gold.
Yeah getting one of those would make you a god.
Probably sponcered or a pro. A lot of riders carry stickers/hats/clothing and stuff to give away to fans.
Again, we're talking about skaters.
It's weird how back in the day parents used to say "be home by dusk" and that was cool. Now people have to sit in a van at the skate park to avoid their kids.
"here's a sticker. Let's get out of here"...🤔😬
His kid, probably.
Doesnt sound like its his kid honestly
His girlfriends kid
His wife’s son.
His son's wife
It's his kid now! Finders keepers!
Not based on the audio.
Why is it posted on this sub?
Because it is fake. That is his cousin. They laid the bike down. Cool-Byke-D goes over and soothes the not crying kid, just happens to have a sticker on him, collects the kid, posts, get 500,000 views.
I have lost all faith that most of this stuff isn't staged.
the fat one is watching the little one
Don’t worry I got your reference :)
This isn’t normal?
I don't know they look to be 4-6, sounds a bit young to hang out alone at night to me
I get your perspective, but you have to remember that vast majority of reddit users are actually from the US and Canada. In their culture, kids being independent like that at a young age is very unusual.
I know in Europe, and especially the Nordics, parents encourage their children from a very young age to be independent.
Having said that, in this case I think the whole thing is staged.
That is actually a 47 year old dad of three who suffers from a growth condition, and a bruised knee from the fall
Something seems off about this. Why is this kid alone at night biking? With no parental supervision. Then a stranger engages him.
You are going to hate me but staged
While I agree with you that this seems rather suspicious, as someone who frequents skate parks, you would be god damn shocked at how many parents drop their children off to skate and sit in their cars on their phones, or on the benches. We’ve even seen some parents just let kids *run* around skate parks, in front of and amongst people skating. It’s ridiculous lol.
Yea man, my times at the skate park were a long time ago.
When he gave the kid a sticker, that’s when I was like *bullshit*
So thank you for catching me up on the lack of skate park parental supervisions.
Yeah the sticker is super conspicuous hahaha
I’m a grown man at night distributing stickers to crying children and doling out life lessons.
And I am also not tony hawk asking kids to kick flip lolol
I'm brave too, I wanna sticker! Do you also have candy?
Van full of puppies towards where I’m taking your bike.
When I was a kid they tried to close the skate park, and parents were not happy about it. Also, the way the kid is fully loaded with protection makes me think mom dropped him off.
Super young though, he must live near by. I hope so. Or that it's staged. Bro had a sticker and a GoPro lol
I carry a GoPro with me super often. It’s part of my job, but also super dope little camera. Not uncommon for someone to record themselves riding a bike too.
Do they also add narrative subtitle to the video and post it on TikTok to get cool points? People do good thing every day.....
Teen running around with stickers was a little odd for me as well.
It’s definitely the parent
> Then a stranger engages him
And seemingly tries to steal his bike. Lol Not really judging or anything, but I saw that sort of grift a couple times as a kid, and that definitely triggered alarm bells.
Hahaha now that’s a fucking fake video I’d watch, satire on the entire staged kindness.
> You are going to hate me but staged
Wait you mean grown ass dudes don't walk around ready to pull out stickers on demand?
Of fucking course this is staged.
I was trying to put it nicer than that….homie but whatever. I just wanted people who like ‘this warms my heart’ not to get so fucking but thief by calling them stupid.
I wish full grown men gave out stickers, as one it’s time for me to start
Well considering the guy in it is also the camera man, it shouldn’t come as a surprise.
This struck me as one of those typical “*nice guys*”. I’d wager that he isn’t so nice when someone else is filming without his knowledge.
I know that you’re saying this is staged and the kid is in on it, but for whatever reason all I could imagine is this dude putting on a helmet of one color, finding this kid and fucking shoving him on the ground and riding away. Then he puts on a different colored helmet and comes back and offers to help them.
Jesus fucking christ that's quite the conclusion you've jumped to
He also doesn't seem to be all that upset either. I would agree though, he definitely seems to young for anyone to let him be out at the park after dark. Doesn't matter where they live it's not something normal or that a responsible parent would do.
This is so obvious I can’t believe people are defending it. Tik tok is full of these bullshit staged videos. Even if a kid was out by themselves riding like this, a kid with that heavy duty protective gear is used to falling down and won’t just be crying by themselves for falling over, lol.
"You just gotta get back on"
\*Kid tries to get back on bike\*
"No no I will take your bike and get you out of here"
Kids bike can be fenced for at least $10 and the kid got a sticker, win win.
This is the last known video of six year old Caleb, if anyone has any information about about the man in this video please contact your local sheriff
Plot twist. Kidnapper.
Plotter twist, the kid robs him in the parking lot with a gang of 7 year olds
The guy sounds more panicked than the kid
He rehearsed a couple times to get the acting perfect
Sounds about right. The amount of staged TikTok/social media videos always leaves me questioning the validity of it. Why would a kid be outside there with no supervision that late at night????
He sounds like he’s been doing laps on a pump track. Pump tracks allow you to go faster the more effort you “pump” into them. 😎
No way okay? He just helping him out okay? Like, okay, take this sticker okay? Let’s move your bike okay? Gotta stay safe ok? You ok? Okay.
just take this cocaine... I mean sticker, okay? OKAY??
fake as fuck
This is fake as fuck lmao
Where the F the parents at yo?
Staged. This is why I hate TikTok!
Everyone saying it’s fake….he posted the full video on his YouTube. Seems real to me.
that's a weird way to steal a kid's bike
This kind of staged shit is just getting strange now
This shit is so obviously fake. Y'all should be embarrassed
I need to carry stickers around. Underrated way to make someone's day.
this is a pump track not a skate park. pump tracks can be massive and usually have rules of no people on the track or near it as the bike whip around pretty fast and they don't want people getting hit by the bikes. so any parents that are there are usually watching from a grand stand. also the guy has a camera on his helmet because most bikers like to record their runs. ALSO its not weird at all to carry stickers as I always have stickers in my bag to tag signs which he probably does
Not weird that their parents let their 5 year old son ride a bike at this pump track without supervision at night? Must be the most trusting parents in America.
well how do you know the parents aren't there? the kid fell in a area that looks like a valley of raise track walls around him maybe the parents didn't see the kid had fallen. what do you expect do you want the parents to be running beside them the entire time because ive never seen that at any pump tracks.
ah yes because we all just keep stickers in our pockets 24/7 to give to random 6 year olds we find unsupervised
Looks like he gave the kid a sticker he made himself. The sticker matches his profile pic for his Instagram (@nwa.mtb). Probably hands them out to people so they watch his videos. And who doesn’t like stickers? I still get amped when I get cool stickers with car parts, sneakers, PC gear, etc.
I started making my own stickers and would hand out free stickers to promote my business. I think its staged but if I was in that situation I would have given a sticker too.
Probably the least bias comment here and I fully agree with it, what's better publicity than helping a kid(if real), building up his aspirations as he'll never forget the moment some random inspired him to get up and try again and then also taking home a sticker with his branding, which his family will also see and others too.
If it's real, he's business savvy.
You totally overlooked the much more probable scenario of using the sticker and the staged videos inevitable Good Samaritan porn premise as advertising for his brand
Didn't overlook it, seen it suggested multiple times and I'm normally on the same wave length as you can't trust much these days.
I just thought considering the amount of "Fake" I'd come in with a non bias opinion/perspective.
I know tons of people that slap those stickers around town on the back of signs, they always have them in their pocket. I don't get the hate on that part.

Now he’s on the back of a milk carton
Honestly, as someone who has worked mountain safety at a ski resort, this looks totally genuine.
He heard the cry, had a natural instinct, and what he was trying to do (by taking and moving the bike himself) was clear the track before anyone else came around in the dark and a bigger accident happened.
I rewatched this like 5 times. You'd be surprised what responsible adults keep handy in areas like this. For me it was candy, but I was in uniform so it was like a cop handing it to a crying kid. We also keep bandaids and medical stuff in our pockets/packs. Helps get their attention (they are scared) and we could easily move people to a safe place to prevent further accidents.
This exactly, I ride bike park almost every day and its not uncommon for me to come across a kid that took a spill and their parent is ahead on the trail or they were riding alone. Who the fuck would just ride away as a kid is on the ground crying by themselves and what parent would have a problem with someone helping their kid until they arrive to do the same. Bunch of jaded internet crusties on this thread trying to prove how clever they are by calling everything fake. Pump tracks are big, some of these people should get a bike and go check one out. Also riding with stickers in your pocket is extremely common especially for someone sponsored and or filming regularly.
"Let's go over here."
And the kid was never seen again.
I have hope for the future generations, at least if there's a planet left for them.
When I was a kid and fell, everyone just berated me for falling, from other kids to my parents.
It's nice to see there's some humanity out there.
Where are your parents?
This aint fake, little kids at the skate park eat shiittt sometimes and no one says or does shit
Not a public freak out ...at all
Did he steal that kids bike
Where the fuck are the kids parents
What a fucking saint- made my morning.
Guy films himself doing something nice and uploads it so people can say how nice he is. I don’t think there’s anything particularly saintly about it. It’s for his own gratification.
Maybe it’s to spread kindness- does that take away from the deed? Maybe he’s showing it’s cool not to be a dick to little kids at the skatepark. I don’t see what the big deal is.
So in your opinion, a video that is fake and completely staged is okay to pass as real as long as it spreads kindness?
I mean honestly, with the way you framed that, yes, absolutely. If we are taking your statement as fact, that the outcome of the fake video is “kindness is spread”, then yeah, what would be the problem with the video being fake?
“I would prefer less kindness in the world as long as there is no fake videos” is one of the more Reddit things I’ve heard today.
How do you know it’s fake? I don’t understand why this video is a trigger for folks lol
Im not triggered, and Im not asking about this video specifically. I just asked you a simple question
I don’t try and question the validity of the video. I look at it as a kind act, and it put me in a better mood this morning after watching it. That’s just me though.
I get what youre saying, but some people might get upset when they find out the video is staged and fake for internet points/money.
Im still waiting for your response. Im genuinely curious and I would like to know your side.
No,I don’t think it’s cool to post fake videos for gratification. I don’t think this one was fake though, but that’s just me.
And he has a gopro on filming himself ride.. not to show off his one good deed for the day
It brightened my day as well. A little bit of faith in humanity restored.
This is what it's all about ( get back up n try it again ) that kid will never forget that moment 👍🤜🤛💯
I counted 12 okays, ok?
Assuming this is real and he does not know this kid, this is not cool. It is cool to turn back and check on a kid you don't know to make sure they are not hurt. It is not cool to engage them in conversation, give them presents, and TAKE THEIR FUCKING BIKE.
What makes it not cool to engage them in conversation, give them a sticker or help them with their bike? He made conversation to calm the kid down and it worked pretty well, along with the sticker. He didn't take the kids bike, he helped him get it off the pump track as that could be a bit difficult for the tiny child?
Of course someone could do all of those things with malicious intent but should everyone who tries to help be assumed to be malicious? Get a grip
This is like right down the street from where I live. For a kid to be out on his own in that area is not likely. Albeit the actual park is in a nice neighborhood, the way down there is full of junkies and sketchy situations
jUST HAPPENS TO HAVE A STICKER?
WHERE ARE PARENTS? SUMMER? MUST BE 9PM.
I SMELL BS OR SOME SORT OF TOMFOOLERY
Oh hey buddy, you okay? You're so brave! Want a sticker? Let me get your bike up for you! Oh no no, you don't need to ride away. I'll take that. Oooh your bike looks kind of beat up, buddy. It needs to be fixed it or it might be broken for good ) - :
Oh I know! I have some tools in my car. Wanna come with me so we can fix your bike? I have more stickers too!
Why the fuck was he filming?
This video makes my fucking skin crawl. This kid is a creeper.
thought the kid would throw a tantrum and smack the guy
Where is this park?
It might be the new Jordie Lunn Bike Park near Nanaimo BC in Canada
His helmet is so big on him
I wish my city had a place like this, looks insanely fun
I fucking need this man in my life!
A guy who fakes shit for views?
Oh that's fake!!
Ok i get it now
Guys forget about anything other than the sticker. The sticker?
When you fall down, you got to get up.
Who the fuck cut some mild onions?
I have questions as to why the kid is out at night on his own?
Why is there an unattended 5 year old in a bike park after dark?
Why does he have a sticker like right out of the pocket
Fake or not, skaters are some of the most inclusive and helpful people I've ever met, especially to newcomers.
If only a skater had been there to stop this biker from stealing this kids bike
“Why do we fall?” - Thomas Wayne
why do I watch people fighting all the time when this actually makes me feel better
Why is an unsupervised toddler just in the park like that at night tho
Helping? If anything this seems like an abduction. Staged maybe either way. But dude sounds creepy. Why the fuck does he need to move his bike at all anyway? Kid seemed fine. Lol
If you ain’t crashing, then you’re not trying anything new
Where are his guardians
Is today the official holiday of reposts or have I just been on Reddit for too long
remember when this sub was actually about freakouts
Great dude, where the parents.?
That was the most low key bike theft/ kidnapping I’ve ever seen /s. What a great guy. People at these parks get a bad rep but I’ve seen far more videos of people at skate/bike parks doing nice things then bad.
And that poor kid was never seen again
Kid just by himself 🤔
My heart broke. I want to hug them both.
why is this a “public freakout”
weird thing to film
Why does he have stickers to hand??!
yeah lets just go put this in the van with others....
Love this. I wish someone was there to comfort me at my first bmx track crash. My buddies just laughed at me.
Where are they? Is this kind of park common? I want to go to a place like this and ride at night!!!
If unsupervised in this day and age that would be brutal. Good on this man for helping him out, probably ensured that his parents were present before leaving.
Why did he say when you crash you just got to get back on but then push his bike? Uh. Doesn’t make sense this video
That was some batman shit. Do I hear a citizen in distress?! To the batmobike!
I hope this kid remembers that "everybody crashes sometimes" quote for the rest of his life
NO I'LL TAKE THIS DANGEROUS BIKE FROM YOU AND WE CAN GO OVER HERE TOGETHER
