Capital world rebelled against their emperor. Send in the Sardauker.

etra_kurdaj

R5: Running my empire as lean as I could on the amenities, relying on authoritarianism (*fear of this battlestation*) to keep the populations in line. I had been conquering a lot of slaves, and ignoring the abolitionist faction centered on my capital. Sent in the genetically modified super-soldiers of one of my slave races to quell the traitorous founding species. Edit: and yes, I bombarded my own capital to 100% to teach those traitors a lesson.

Infernalwarfare

This some warhammer shit lmao

etra_kurdaj

If I had the Armageddon expected, I'd have cracked that world into a billion pieces. Exterminatus would have been just what they deserved.

TheTuscanCount

Be nice to Angron

TyphusIsDaddy

*Your hear that, u/AngronTheRedAngel? I told you someone loves you.*

AngronTheRedAngel

**Hrrrng, that's one atleast.**

AtionConNatPixell

Shadow council please make sure they don’t get into IRL politics

Friendly-Hamster983

Did the bombardment kill most of the population?

etra_kurdaj

I kept it going until most of them were dead, yes.

NamelessCommander

Talk about dedication.

Friendly-Hamster983

I commend you on your pristine roleplaying.

CashFlowHedge

Will this wipe out the faction?

Friendly-Hamster983

If it kills every last member of it, yes. Otherwise what few remain will need to switch ethics before it is gone entirely.

Freethecrafts

Leave your armies stationed on planet when not out on invasion. Much more difficult for a faction to take control.

kelldricked

I hate how those rebel only have 30 army strentght but do have 204883 armies making bombardment useless.

New_Weakness_2512

Absolutely based

Illustrious-Lychee57

Dang I've seen conies rebel but never the capital before. What happened?

etra_kurdaj

Abolitionist faction took over my homeworld, much to my surprise. The Gene-Soldiers were slaves, ironically.

Illustrious-Lychee57

Oh dang that is some murderous irony lol

Ashura_Paul

I had once a game where I invaded a rebelling world with 5 warforms, even though I had more battle power their sheer numbers could chip away one of my behemoths faster than I could crush them. So I had to resort to hit and run invasions using orbital bombardment. It was hilarious.

SATorACT

Is this a new UI or a mod?

PeePance

Mod “UI Overhaul Dynamic” I think.

Jedinate6

I’m so used to UI Overhaul Dynamic now that I forget it’s not Vanilla

Akratus2

Doesn't modify checksum so you can still get achievements, I consider it french vanilla.

Jedinate6

Oh of course, I have a small list of 4 mods that are *ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY* that are all achievement-compatible, which is why I forget that it’s not Vanilla.

LeerooooyGaaaankins

Which ones?

Jedinate6

So obviously UI overhaul dynamic, a mod that makes black holes look cooler, a mod that makes the icons for invaded systems and planets a lot clearer, and most important of all... **Chad-Engineering**

Deltahunter2495

The sleeper has awakened

mynameismrguyperson

Why are there only 11 pops there?

1EnTaroAdun1

OP says he bombarded them >Edit: and yes, I bombarded my own capital to 100% to teach those traitors a lesson.

Medical_Officer

I think this is more of a Neutron Sweep situation.

edwardlego

i was expecting the imperial legion you get from the resolution

Akratus2

Next time, land 50-200 gene warriors. That will do the trick against shitty rebels

YanLibra66

Rebel Scum

Lord_blep

Arnt worlds supposed to turn into tomb world at 100% devastation.

Drizzit723

Only with I think it’s Armageddon? Bombardment stance

Jedinate6

Armageddon and Pox stances

concernedBohemian

mfker storming rome and moving his capital to constantinople

SmokeyCock

Ah if only those were imperial legions

PhoenixHavoc

Better blow it up and pretend your capital was a different world the whole time
